The monkeytail part of this traditional lever range starts life as a thin piece of mild steel. Our blacksmiths then heat and delicately hammer the steel to form the curly monkeytail shape – one of the most traditional designs in our collection.

Our black finish is a popular choice in traditional settings, it has a subtle sheen and offers a bold contrast on both stained and painted timber alike. It is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it durable corrosion resistant properties.
